James Kopp has over 30 years of business, advertising, and community development experience. He started his grants consulting firm in April 2002.

Before starting James Kopp & Associates, James spent over 20 years working in advertising agencies including Grey Advertising and Young & Rubicam. His has worked in brand management, strategic planning, marketing, and implementing integrated campaigns.
James did consulting work with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra; the New York Consortium for New Music; and WBGO, a jazz public radio station. He and his family are Founding Members of the Garden Preschool Cooperative and Learning Community Charter School.
